Ingredients

2 # of steak (sirloin or round); 1/2” cubes

1 medium onion

Paprika

Flour

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Oil

Butter

Garlic Salt

Parsley

Salt

1 can cream of chicken

1 can cream of celery

1 box Cheddar Biscuit mix (plus required ingredient to make them)

1 cup shredded cheese

Directions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Coat the steak with a mix of flour, pepper, paprika, salt, and garlic powder. You can do this either before or after you cube the steak. Slice or dice your onion based on preference. In a pan of hot oil add the cut onion. For added flavor, toss in some fresh garlic cloves. Layer in steak and sear on a couple sides.

Layer the steak and onion in the bottom of a deep 13x9 pan.

Mix the two cans of soup and one can of water in a dish. Pour the soup over the steak and onions.

Place in the oven for 2 hours at 300 degrees.

Mix the cheddar biscuits according to box instructions. Remove the casserole from the oven after 2 hours. Layer the additional cup of shredded cheese on top. Drop the biscuit mixture on the top of the casserole in dollops and cook according to the box instructions (425 for 15-20 minutes or until brown).

Brush melted butter on top of the biscuits after removed from the oven and sprinkle with parsley and garlic salt.

Let sit for 10 minutes and serve.
